Three programmes

M1, M2 and M3 change which chambers fill together and in what order; every sequence runs from the distal end to the proximal end. The panel carries a zone indicator for chambers A, B, C and D, pressure plus and minus, timing at 10, 20 or 30 minutes, mode M1 to M3, power and pause.

Pressure that follows the leg

A pressure sensor works out how much air the sleeve has taken and holds the value that was set, so a smaller leg is not over-tightened. The range runs from 60 to 240 mmHg, the machine starts at 60 mmHg, and the current value is shown on the panel.

Both legs at once

The two boots are fed from the same pump through a dual output, so the legs work in the same cycle instead of one after the other.

For an evening at home

The pump is quoted under 60 dB, low enough to run in the same room as someone sleeping. The mainframe is 1.5 kg and has a hidden handle; the boots close with a zip and adjust with a buckle.
